KIMS Oman Hospital to host general surgery consultant on April 26 27

KIMS Oman Hospital is hosting Dr Stephen Angamuthu visiting consultant general surgeon to be part of hospital's medical team from April 26 to 27 and he will be available on a monthly basis.

Coming from Royal Bahrain Hospital Dr Angamuthu is an expert general surgery consultant who has more than ten years of professional experience in general surgery and has conducted skillfully and safely more than 1500 laparoscopic and advanced laparoscopic colectomies surgeries. Moreover Dr Angamuthu has special interest in performing bariatric surgeries.

He said 'Obesity always leads to a number of other chronic health conditions which are called co-morbidities. Some examples are cardiovascular diseases hypertension type II diabetes Pulmonary dysfunction osteoarthritis gall bladder disease cancer (breast and colon) and many others.'
