Qatar- Emir of Kuwait Meets Minister of State for Defense Affairs

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kuwait April 10 (QNA) - The Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met today with HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr Khaled bin Mohammed Al Attiyah on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait.
At the outset of the meeting HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Emir of Kuwait as well as His Highness's wishes of good health and happiness for him and more progress and development for the Kuwaiti people.
The Emir of Kuwait asked HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Emir coupled with his wishes of good health and happiness for him and more progress and prosperity for the leadership and people of Qatar.
Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah conferred also with HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs where they reviewed the existing fraternal relations between the two countries and issues of mutual concern.
HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs met separately with Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah.
The two meetings discussed issues of common concern in addition to bilateral relations and means of enhancing and boosting them.
The meetings were attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Kuwait Hamad bin Ali Al Henzab and Chief of the Kuwaiti General Staff Lieutenant General Mohammed Khaled Al-Khadher and the delegation accompanying HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs. (QNA)
