Hugh Grant to voice The Little Prince in Abu Dhabi

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) If you've seen him in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones' Diary or Love Actually, you will understand why we are more than super excited to hear about Hugh Grant's visit to our neighbouring emirate.

The British actor is slated to be the live narrator of the annual Abu Dhabi Festival's (ADF) major production The Little Prince.

The orchestral concert, produced by Nick Lloyd Webber and James D Reid marks its Arab debut at the Emirates Palace Auditorium, Abu Dhabi on April 21 and 22.

One of the most cherished books of all time, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince tells the story of a lost pilot who crashes in the middle of a desert, where he encounters a young prince from a distant asteroid who tells him a story of life among the stars. Set to enthrall and move audiences of all ages, Hugh Grant will narrate the story live, alongside an orchestra of 40 players and 13 principal singers and ensemble, under the baton of acclaimed music director Simon Lee, as they take the audience on a journey through time and space, introducing them to a wonderful array of magical characters.

Ticket holders can join Nick Lloyd Webber and James D Reid for a pre-concert talk at the Emirates Palace Conference Lounge Centre, Room M001, at 7pm on both nights.
