Turkish PM heads for Amman

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL March 26 (KUNA) -- Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has left for Jordan late Saturday for talks with the Jordanian leaders on the bilateral ties and regional issues notably the Syrian crisis.

Speaking to reporters at Istanbul Ataturk Airport Davutoglu said he plans to hold talks with Jordanian King Abdullah II and Prime Minister Abdullah Nsour and sign a dozen of agreements to boost relations in economy and trade between the two countries. He added that he will also address the Turkey-Jordan Business Forum and take part in a conference to be held by the Arab Thought Forum.

The agenda of his visit also includes attending the inauguration of the office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Amman.

This is Davutoglu's first visit to the Kingdom of Jordan as prime minister. (end) ta.gb
