(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman March 19 (Petra) -- China's Ambassador in Amman Pan Weifang on Saturday visited the facilities of the Arab Potash Company in Ghor al-Safi in the southern Jordan valley and looked firsthand at the company's projects and work.
The company's officials delivered a briefing about its work production lines and development initiatives. The company's sales to the Chinese market saw a major upswing to a total of 679613 metric tons in 2015 up by 6 per cent compared with a year earlier. Jamal Sarayrah the company's chairman said the firm was keen to cement its relation with China which accounts for a major chunk of Jordan's production of potash.
