Qatar- Three Palestinian Martyred by Israeli Gunfire

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Occupied Jerusalem March 09 (QNA) - Three Palestinians were killed and one injured by Israeli occupation forces under the pretext that they attempted to stab an Israeli soldier.

Palestinian sources said the injured was evacuated to hospital describing his condition as serious.Israeli sites said a Palestinian youth carrying a knife approached a military checkpoint near Salfit and tried to stab a soldier adding that Israeli forces opened fire at the youth killing him on the spot.

Earlier Israeli forces killed two Palestinian youths near Bab Al Amoud in occupied Jerusalem under the pretext that they opened fire earlier in the day at an Israeli bus in occupied Jerusalem.

Meanwhile Israeli forces closed the entry of Bab al Jadid (New Gate) street near Notre Dame Hotel in Jerusalem and imposed strict siege on the area extending form Bab al Jadid neighbourhood of al-Sahira neighbourhood and Salaheddin street turning it into military barracks after the deployment of massive forces and patrols.(QNA)
