Oman- Petrol prices for March a little lower diesel to cost the same

Prices of two varieties of petrol (M95 and M90) in Oman have been cut in line with global rates.

The committee in charge of studying and fixing price of oil products on Monday approved the new rates which will be in force in March. H E Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi Undersecretary in the Ministry of Oil and Gas said that the committee fixed the price of M95 (super) petrol at 145bz per litre that of M90 (regular) at 130bz per litre while diesel will cost 146bz per litre.

He added that compared to February the prices of M95 and M90 declined by 8bz and 7bz respectively while diesel prices will remain the same. He said that the new prices will come into force from today.
