Jordan Banks Grant 21.1 Billion Dinars Credit in 2015


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Overall credit lines offered by Jordanian banks reached record 21.1 Billion dinars at the end of year 2015, according to data released by Central Bank of Jordan.

The credit facilities were distributed on several sectors are agriculture, mining, industry and general trading, construction and transportation services, tourism, hotels, restaurants, services and public facilities, financial services and other services, including the purchase of shares.

There are 25 banks in Jordan, including 13 commercial and eight foreign and four Islamic banks.
