Jordan condemns Somali hotel attack

AMMAN 28th February 2016 (WAM) -- Jordan has condemned a terrorist attack that hit a hotel in a public garden Friday night in the Somali capital Mogadishu leaving scores dead and injured.

Jordan News Agency Petra quoted the Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications of Jordan Mohammad Momani as renewing Jordan's firm and constant stance in rejecting all terror acts which represent the ideologies of terror groups that aim to destabilise security and the stability of innocent people.

Momani who is also the government's spokesperson called on the international community to double its efforts to encounter terrorism that increasingly threatens world peace and stability. He reaffirmed Jordan's stance in support of the Somali government and people as they stand up to face terrorism and extremism.
