'Symbols of Bulgarian Identity' expo showcases 20 paintings by kids

DOHA: The ‘Symbols of Bulgarian Identity’ exhibition featuring more than 20 paintings by children opened at Katara on Monday.

The diverse collection of paintings by children aged five to 12 years highlight Bulgarian customs.

Katara General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti launched the exhibition in the presence of the ambassadors of Bulgaria Poland Japan and Turkey and representatives of other diplomatic missions.

Bulgarian Ambassador Metin Hussein Kazak handed over a letter of thanks to Dr Al Sulaiti on behalf of the vice-president of Bulgaria in which she lauded Katara’s role in honing children’s artistic skills and giving Bulgarian children opportunity to showcase their talents.
