Sudan s President receives Saudi Foreign Minister

KHARTOUM 23rd February 2016 (WAM) -- President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan yesterday received Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir Saudi Foreign Minister.

According to the Saudi Press Agency SPA Al-Jubeir conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Sudanese President.

In a press statement following the meeting Al-Jubeir highlighted the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sudan and described these relations as distinctive and solid stressing that the views of the two countries are identical about current issues.

Al-Jubeir appreciated Sudan's stances on Operation Determination Storm and the Islamic Military Alliance to Fight Terrorism. He also noted that they reviewed the situation in Yemen Somalia and Syria in addition to bilateral relations between the two countries.
