Saudi welcomes NATO's joint statement on fighting IS


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH Feb 15 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia welcomed on Monday the joint statement issued by the meeting of the international coalition countries on cooperation to fight the so-called Islamic State's (IS) terrorist organization which was held at the headquarters of NATO alliance in Brussels.The Saudi Press Agency quoted a cabinet statement as expressing the Kingdom's appreciation to the defense ministers of NATO alliance for commending the leading steps taken by the Kingdom to form an Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism.The Cabinet also commended outcome of the meetings of International Support Group for Syria which was held in Munich Germany last week.(end).yms.tg
