Four killed, 27 injured in Egypt hospital fire


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) At least four people were killed and 27 injured after a huge fire erupted Monday at a private hospital in Egypt's Alexandria province, dpa cited deputy Health Minister Magdy Hegazy as saying.

The injured were mainly suffering from burns and smoke inhalation.

Ten fire trucks were used to extinguish the blaze that broke out inside the radiology department at Al-Shorouk hospital, located in the Glim neighourhood of Alexandria province.

The local head of Civil Protection Force, Brigadier Omar Gaballah, said that the cause of the fire was still unknown.
