Qatar- Ministry of Economy recalls different models of Honda cars

Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced the recall of 2001-2007 Honda Accord 2003-2008 Honda Pilot 2005 Honda Civic and 2002-2004 Honda Odyssey due to a defect in the driver's airbag.

The procedures comes within the framework of the Ministry's continuous coordination and follow-up to ascertain the commitment of car dealerships to follow up and fix vehicle defects in order to protect the rights of consumers.

The ministry said it will coordinate with the agent to follow up the maintenance and repair of the defect and will communicate with customers to ensure the implementation of the procedures and the repair of defect in the cars.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce urged all consumers to report any irregularities by communicating the Consumer Protection Department which receives complaints suggestions and inquiries through its channels of communication.
