Kuwaiti racers reign over Bahrain Drag Racing Championship

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA Jan 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti racers reigned over the 2015-16 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship claiming top places in different categories on Saturday.Racer Abdullah Al-Souri came first in the V8 Outlaw category while countryman Abdullah Al-Shimali came in second place and Abdullah Oqab also from Kuwait came third Ayad Al-Qureishi board member of the Kuwait Motor Sports Club told KUNA.Al-Souri also won second place in the V8 Pro Mods competition Al-Qureishi added.Meanwhile Abdurrahman Bualwa won first place in the 4.5 category Competition and Bassel Abbas was third in the Outlaw 6-cylinder class.These results reflect the Kuwaiti team's level of professionalism and competence to win titles Al-Qureishi noted.
