(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO Jan 14 (KUNA) -- At least 30 militants and four soldiers were killed when clashes erupted between the two sides near a military check point in Sheikh Zuweid City in Egypt's northern Sinai the Armed Forces announced on Thursday.The army managed to kill 30 "terrorists" and critically injured 10 others the Armed Forces said in a statement adding four soldiers were killed in the confrontation.The army stressed that there have been ongoing military operations against terrorists in Sinai the statement noted.Egyptian army has been launching large scale military operations in Sinai in a bid to suppress the insurgency.
