Saudi Defense Minister arrives in Pakistan to discuss security


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISLAMABAD Jan 10 (KUNA) -- The Deputy Crown Prince and Minister for Defense of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud arrived in Islamabad on Sunday on a day-long official visit it was officially declared.Pakistan's Minister of Defense Khwaja Muhammad Asif Prime Minister's Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and other officials received the eminent guest on his arrival at Nur Khan Base in federal capital Islamabad.The visiting dignitary is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif top military leadersand his Pakistani counterpart during his visit. According to state owned Radio Pakistan issues pertaining to mutual interests and "security situation of the region would be discussed during the visit." The visit by the Defense Minister followed the significant visit of Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Adel Bin Ahmed al-Jubeir to Pakistan last week. (end) sbk.rk
