Oman- 562 students graduate from Nizwa College of Technology

The Nizwa College of technology (NCT) held its annual graduation ceremony at the Nizwa Sports Complex recently.

According to a press release as many as 562 students who completed their diplomas higher diplomas and bachelor's degree programmes were awarded certificates.

Of these 280 were from engineering 174 from business studies and 108 were from information Technology courses.

The event was held under the patronage of H E Dr sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Saadi Governor of Dakhliyah H E Dr Muna bint Salim bin Khalfan al Jardaniyah Undersecretary for Technological Education and Vocational Training in the Ministry of Manpower and Dr Hafidh bin Taher BaOmar dean of NCT.

Sheikhs assistant deans heads of academic departments and centres teaching and non-teaching staff representatives of public and private sectors in Dakhliyah students parents and guardians attended the event.

Dr BaOmar welcomed the guests and congratulated the students and their families.

He said 'We feel proud and honoured to celebrate the graduation of a new batch of graduates who have successfully completed their studies in different specialisations and extend our hearty congratulations to them. 'We are confident that the graduates produced by NCT are competent enough to match the requirements of the job market in Oman and international level.'

The graduating students also expressed their happiness and gratitude to all who supported them in this achievment.

The event concluded with a light and sound show.
