Oman- 55mm rainfall recorded in Seeb: MRMWR

Northern parts of the sultanate were affected by unstable climate conditions due to a low pressure on Saturday and Sunday leading to rainfall and flooding of wadis.

The weather data centre of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources (MRMWR) recorded highest rainfall at 55mm in the wilayat of Seeb in Muscat.

In Musandam the wilayat of Bukha recorded 26mm rainfall while the wilayat of Barka in the governorate of South Batinah registered 20mm rain.

In the governorate of Dhahirah the wilayat of Yanqul recorded 5mm rainfall while 3mm rain was recorded in the wilayat of Sohar in the governorate of North Batinah.

In the governorate of Buraimi 3mm rain was reported in the wilayat of Buraimi and 2mm rainfall was recorded in the wilayat of Bahla in the governorate of Dakhliyah.
