Oman- Royal Order to honour military sports shooting teams

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces has ordered that the armed forces shooting team national shooting team and military sports teams that represented the sultanate in regional and international competitions in 2015 be honoured.

As part of this initiative the command of the Sultan's Armed Forces (COSAF) represented by the Directorate of Military Sports organised a ceremony at the SAF theatre on Monday under the auspices of Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al Busaidi Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs.

The ceremony included a presentation on the local regional and international achievements of the shooting team.

The chief guest honoured members of the armed forces shooting team and the national shooting team. He congratulated them for their efforts and achievements and wished them success in upcoming events.

The SAF chief of staff also honoured the administrators at the Directorate of Military Sports the International Shooting Unit and the respective committees.
