Qatar- Arab League OIC Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Cairo January 03 (QNA) - Arab League Secretary-General Dr. Nabil Al Arabi met here on Sunday with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani who is currently visiting Cairo.
During the meeting the two sides discussed means to develop bilateral cooperation in different aspects coordination of efforts on dealing with the current issues especially with regard to supporting the Palestinian cause and providing protection to the Palestinian people in addition to supporting the efforts of political solution to the crises in Syria Yemen and Libya.
The also discussed means to addressing the repercussions of the serious phenomenon of terrorism and extremist ideas which threaten many Arab and Islamic countries in addition to responding to Western accusations that attaches to this phenomenon to Arabs and Muslims. (QNA)
