CAIRO Dec 23 (KUNA) -- Egyptians have been celebrating the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for centuries as they decorate neighborhoods with lights and colorful displays to commemorate the anniversary.
Egyptians bake different kinds of sweets for this occasion including one especially made for children in the shape of a horse for boys or a doll for girls which is an old tradition in Egypt dating back to the era of Fatimid Caliph Al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah.(end) ms.rg.ag
