UAE- Mohamed bin Zayed receives Canadian Defence Minister

ABU DHABI 22th December 2015 (WAM)His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces today received at Al Shatti Palace Harjit Sajjan Minister of National Defence of Canada to discuss avenues of joint co-ordination and co-operation in defence and military fields.
Also discussed were ways of enhancing bilateral ties in a manner that serve the interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
Sheikh Mohamed and the visiting Canadian minister also touched on a number of issues of mutual interest and most important regional developments including ongoing international efforts to counter terrorism groups.
Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouie Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court Lt. General Juma Ahmed Al Bawardi Advisor to the Deputy Supreme Commander Arif Lalani Canadian Ambassador to UAE and a number of Canadian officials attended the meeting.
