German consumer confidence rises for the first time in four months

year on a positive note with a key indicator released on Tuesday
rising amid a pickup in income and economic expectations dpa reported.
The Nuremberg-based GfK market research group said its
forward-looking confidence survey for households in Europe's biggest
economy rose for the first time in four months to 9.4 points in
January.
