Jordan welcomes deal on Libya unity government
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Dec. 18 (Petra) -- Jordan on Friday welcomed the signing of a U.N.-brokered agreement to form a national unity government in Libya and called on Libyan parties to cooperate and work for the success of the deal.
State Minister for Media Affairs Muhammad Momani said Jordan hopes that the agreement be a step towards restoring stability and prosperity in Libya and help in fighting terrorism in the North African Arab nation. He voiced Jordan's backing of the agreement.
