Jordan- Senate president meets Dutch ambassador
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Dec. 16 (Petra)--Senate President Faisal Al Fayez on Wednesday discussed with Dutch Ambassador to Jordan Paul van den IJssel Jordanian-Dutch ties as well as ways to further boost them in various fields.
Talks also covered the current situation in the region mainly issues pertaining to terrorism as well as the crisis in Syria.
Al Fayez said that solving the Palestinian issue in line with international legitimacy resolutions that enables the Palestinian people to establish their independent state is key to solving political crises in the region.
He also stressed the need for a political solution to the Syrian crisis that preserves the country's unity.
The ambassador praised Jordan's role in hosting Syrian refugees as well as its efforts to end conflicts in the region.
