Darfur Governor Praises Doha Document for Peace in Darfur DDPD


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Khartoum December 15 (QNA) - Governor of South Darfur State Adam Al-Faki said the implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD) on the ground and the achievements it realized practically moved the state from the remedy from the stage of war to the comprehensive sustainable development which will pave the way for the area to become a regional hub linking Sudan with West Africa.

In a statement he gave today in the city of Niyala capital of South Darfur state Al Faki said that Vice President Hassabo Mohamed Abdurrahman will arrive tomorrow in the state to inaugurate a number or major development projects and to announce that the peace agreement has reached an advanced stage.

He described that such projects told a message about the success of the Darfur Peace Agreement reached in Doha and its progress from a peace agreement into a tangible reality that rendered the people of Darfur advocates of peace unity security and stability.(QNA)
