Sharjah CP signs message about marathon to express loyalty to UAE leader

Sharjah 13th December 2015 (WAM) - H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah today signed a message about a marathon to denote loyalty to the UAE leader. The marathon will be organised on 20th December under the patronage of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi Deputy Ruler of Sharjah attended the signing ceremony which took place at the Sharjah Ruler's Office.

The Crown Prince lauded the spectacular achievements the UAE has made under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.

''The UAE has become a destination for those seeking to enjoy peace and security'' he added Saleh Mohammed Hassan Deputy Chairman of the Marathon Organising Committee informed the Crown Prince of Sharjah about the race track. He said the race will be flagged off on 20th December from Dibba Al Hisn city in Sharjah and will end in the capital Abu Dhabi.

''Along the 655 km journey to the capital 110 runners will run through the nation's major historic archaeological and heritage sites and landmarks'' he added.
