Jordan takes part in Palestinian affairs supervisors conference


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Dec. 6 (Petra)-- Jordan is taking part in the 95th session of Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries which kicked off in Cairo on Sunday .

Palestinian Affairs Department Director General Mahmoud Aqrabawi who headed Jordan's delegation to the conference said that the Palestinian issue is of great importance to His Majesty King Abdullah II and that finding a just solution to it will reduce tension in the region. "This is the first step in countering terrorism that is sweeping the world" he added.

During the five-day conference Jordan will present working sheets dealing with the Israeli violations against the Al Aqsa Mosque which seek to obliterate the identity and historical landmarks of Palestine.
