Qatargas Host 12th Annual Engineering Forum
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatargas hosted recently the 12th annual Engineering Forum in Al Khor City, bringing together engineering experts in the field of liquefied natural gas industry to exchange ideas and present the challenges currently facing the industry.
The annual Engineering Forum is one of Qatargas most important LNG industry events as it attracts an elite of engineering experts from oil and gas companies and a group of academics and workers in the private sector.
The participants exchanged technical expertise, discussed the latest developments in the LNG industry in Qatar, and presented studies on many important engineering topics.
The Forum provided an opportunity for direct acquaintance between the participants, and the formation of a high-level professional relationships network.
The Forum's presentations focused on two main themes, namely integration processes and treatment and safety systems.
Nearly 200 professionals in the field of engineering attended the one-day Forum.
Established in 1984, Qatargas is the first company in the field of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industry in Qatar, and the largest LNG producing company in the world, with an annual LNG production capacity of 42 million tones per annum (MTA).
