US and Chinese Presidents arrive in Manila
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Manila Safar 05 1437 November 17 2015 SPA -- US and Chinese leaders arrived in Manila Tuesday ahead of an international economic summit where terrorism and maritime disputes were expected to overshadow trade discussions dpa reported.
President Barack Obama visited a Philippine warship the BRP Gregorio del Pilar - donated by the United States.
"Anything that enhances relations among nations and fulfills mutual security needs is always helpful" said Philippine military spokesman Colonel Restituto Padilla.
Chinese President Xi Jinping who arrived just minutes after Obama was in the Philippines.
