French airstrikes hit ISIL targets in Syria
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Ten French fighter jets have struck the locations of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Al-Raqqah city, central north Syria.
The air attacks hit their targets precisely and destroyed an ISIL command center, a jihadist training camp and an arms cache, the French Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Sunday.
The strikes came two days after Paris was hit by multiple coordinated shooting and bomb attacks which claimed 129 lives and wounded 352 others.
