Qatar- Crew of Omani ship Sultanate visits Katara

Doha: Crew of Omani ship Sultanate visitsed Cultural Village Foundation Katara in their fourth stop. The General Manager of Katara Dr Khlaid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti has accompanied the visiting crew in a tour around Katara and elaborated future projects. He mentioned the cultural cooperation between Katara and the Sultanate of Oman and the recent Fath al khier voyage that that had a stop in Sur port of Oman on their way to India and its proposed docking in Muscat on return.

The General Manager thanked for the reception ceremony held for the captain and sailors of Fath al Khier. The ship captain Commodore Saif bin Nasser al Rahabi said: “We are really proud to visit this cultural edifice. It is a cultural landmark in Qatar and in the GCC countries as well.”

The Omani ship docked in Doha port has on its board youngsters from GCC countries and affiliates of 9 foreign countries of; The United Kingdom Germany Hungary Australia Uruguay South Africa the Netherlands Canada and Czech . For his part the ambassador of the Omani Sultanate in Doha Mohammed bin Nasser al Wahaibi lauded the efforts end exertion of the Cultural Village. The general manager also presented a memorial shield to the crew.
