Internal Auditors Institute seminar

Doha: The Institute of Internal Auditors Qatar conducted a seminar on the topic “Ethics and Compliance Programmes” at Oryx Rotana Hotel.

The presenter John M Fuchko III works as Chief Audit Officer and Vice Chancellor for Internal Audit & Compliance University System of Georgia (USG).

In this capacity John oversees the USG internal audit risk management and compliance and ethics programs comprising over 25 campus audit shops and 80 professional staff.

John holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor Certified Risk Management Assurance a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

John served two terms as Chairman and two terms as President of the 1900-member Institute of Internal Auditors Atlanta Chapter USA.

Ethics and Compliance programme should contain seven core elements:

Standards and Procedures Programme with assigned responsibility Background checks Training Evaluation of programme & Hotline capability Incentives and disciplinary actions and Respond to misconduct.
