Senior US official heads to Bahrain for security talks
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken will be in Bahrain October 30-31 for the annual Manama Dialogue, it was confirmed Wednesday.
Blinken will deliver remarks on "enduring US commitments to Gulf security and resolving broader regional challenges," a State Department statement said.
"In meetings with senior Bahraini government officials and civil society leaders, he will reaffirm the strong US-Bahrain partnership and discuss a wide range of shared interests and concerns," it added.
