Prince Sultan bin Salman visits Calligraphy Exhibition
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh 15 Muharram1437 28 October2015 SPA -- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage visited yesterday evening the Exhibition of Authenticity of the Letter" of Riyadh's calligraphers currently taking place in Albujairi District in historic Diriyah.
The Prince toured the exhibition which includes more than 60 paintings under the auspices of the National Program for handicrafts confirming in a press statement after the tour that the interest in Arabic calligraphy and support for its activities will be an integral element in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Care of Cultural Heritage adopted by the Commission with the participation of a number of government agencies.
Prince Sultan bin Salman stressed that the Kingdom should have its own Arabic calligraphy school.
