Oman India fund sells stake in Solar Industries India

The Oman-India Joint investment Fund a joint venture between the State bank of India the country's largest bank by assets and the State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) the sultanate's biggest sovereign fund has sold off its entire stake of 4.28 per cent in Solar Industries India Ltd for just over R2.4bn (RO14.22mn) according to an Indian media report.

According to bulk deals data available with the Bombay stock exchange (BSE) the fund sold 774195 shares amounting to a 4.28 per cent stake in the company the Press Trust of India news agency reported. The shares were sold for an average price of R3100.42.
