(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) WASHINGTON Muharram 08 1437 October 21 2015 SPA -- The U.S.-led anti-ISIS coalition conducted 17 airstrikes against the extremist group in Iraq and Syria Monday the Combined Joint Task Force said Tuesday.
The task force said in a statement that eight strikes in Iraq near Sinjar destroyed 26 militant fighting positions five vehicles 10 assembly areas and three command and control nodes. Other strikes in the country hit near Ramadi Kisik Tal Afar Mosul and Makhmur.
In Syria the statement said strikes were carried out near Raqqa where a militant headquarters building was hit and Tel Jibbin.
