Qatar Electricity and Water Corporation Report Q3 Earnings, Revenue Up 1%
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation announced Tuesday its financial results of 2015's first three quarter. The announcement was made after the board of directors held a meeting chaired by the company's chairman HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada.
A statement released by the company today said that revenue was up 1% to QR2,209 million, compared to QR2,184 million during the same period of last year. Net profit however was down 2.5% to QR1.14 billion, compared to QR1.17 billion. Earnings per share (EPS) were QR10.37, compared to QR10.63 during the same period of last year.
