Jordan- FM briefs senators on latest developments in Palestine


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Senate members, chaired by Senate Speaker Abdul Raouf Rawabdeh, were briefed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Nasser Judeh, on the latest developments in the region, especially in the Palestinian territories.

Judeh pointed to Jordan's efforts and moves, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to stop the continued Israeli attacks and violations, stressing that the Kingdom, as the custodian of Islamic and Christian holy sites in East Jerusalem, will firmly address, using all diplomatic and legal means, and stop the Israeli attacks.

The minister reiterated Jordan's supportive stance to the Palestinians to establish their independent state on Palestine national soil with East Jerusalem its as capital.
