(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) On the occasion of the lunar new year, according to the Islamic calendar, all government departments and public institutions will observe a holiday on Thursday October 15, a statement issued by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said Wednesday.
The prime minister called on all ministries, official departments and institutions to highlight this religious occasion.
A ceremony under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II will be held to mark the occasion.
