(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) US President Barack Obama said on Friday that Russia's airstrikes in Syrian that started last Wednesday, will ultimately empower Daesh terrorist group.
Speaking from the White House, Obama said Russian President Vladimir Putin is failing to differentiate between Daesh and moderate groups who oppose the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Obama said that Russia's targeting of moderate opposition groups will encourage foreign fighters to join the conflict and draw the Russians into a quagmire.
