Spain, Morocco coordinate detention of ISIL suspects


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Spanish and Moroccan authorities, in a coordinated operation, have nabbed 10 persons with suspected links to the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
The detainees are part of a network that enlists foreign warriors to join the ISIL ranks in Syria and Iraq, the Spanish Ministry of Interior said in a statement issued on Sunday.
The suspects were arrested in Badalona, Toledo, Valencia and the Moroccan city Casablanca.
The ministry statement indicated that more suspects might be detained in the ongoing operation.
ISIL occupies large swaths of lands in Iraq and Syria.
