Kuwait's crude oil up 17 cents to USD 42.38 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The price of Kuwaiti crude oil was up Wednesday by 17 cents to settle at USD 42.38 per barrel compared to USD 42.21 pb on Tuesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.
At the world markets, the prices of oil varied with the Brent mix, for example, being up at the London Stock Exchange after fears of speculation emerged over the Russian airstrikes in Syria.
In the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of crude oil was down due to reports on American crude reserves.
The Brent mix was up by 14 cents to reach USD 48.37 pb while the price for American crude was down by 14 cents to reach USD 45.09 pb.
