UAE- Iran in Arabs quagmire says Gargash


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)The latest developments revealed that the Iranian expansion policy in Arab affairs faces more than a problem and quagmire and reality and reason require quick and explicit review Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash UAE minister of foreign affairs tweeted on Wednesday.

He said on his page in Twitter that Iran is wading in the quagmires of Iraq and Syria and a defeat in Yemen as well as exposure of its interference in Bahrain. He however said the Iranian policy towards the Arab world has failed and the time is high for review.

"Iran's policy has depended on the sectarian expansion in the Arab world and became a burden on Tehran" he said adding the Iranian fiasco in resolving after expansion has become clear".

Moreover he said the foreign policy of Iran which weighs on sectarian part and the Persian patriotic one had led to the enmity of the Arab peoples and hatred so wisdom and voice of reason is imperatively needed.

"It is impossible for a country on a size of Iran to control the Arab world which is bigger than it and the sectarian rife which iran had backed in Iraq Syria and Lebanon are still in dire straits and temporary" he noted

As for the contradiction of the Iranian slogans it is needless to say and the slogan of supporting the people are not believed by the Arab peoples he argued.

The Iranian image is in Arabian nadir and the sincere review is required and the raison d'tre and voice of wisdom is clear. He said Tehran should change its policy towards the Arabs and should try respecting the sovereignty and not to interfere in other affairs and observe good neighborliness and will virtually discover the result is best for it and the Arabs too.
