According to Turkey's Anadolu News Agency, the Coast Guard tracked a fishing boat and detained it after the crew refused to respond to its message.
The Coast Guard transferred the refugees, including women and children, to the gendarmerie to take formal action. Security officials have launched an operation to find the ship's owner for interrogation.
