Jordan- King, Palestinian president discuss developments in Jerusalem
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Tuesday, received a phone call from Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, during which they discussed the latest Israeli provocations and violations in Jerusalem's Al Aqsa Mosque.
The Palestinian president commended tireless efforts exerted by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, in the defense of Jerusalem and its holy sites against Israeli violations and attacks.
President Abbas underlined Jordan's firm position towards the Palestinian issue and paid tribute the King's yesterday's remarks during his meeting with the British prime minister, in which the King warned that if Israeli provocations in Jerusalem don't stop, the relationship between Jordan and Israel will be affected.
