NBO welcomes 13 Omani graduates to management training programme


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The chief executive officer and members of the senior management at National bank of Oman on Sunday welcomed 13 fresh graduates into the NBO family. 

The group of young Omani men and women has been chosen to undertake the 12-month 'Management Training Programme' that was launched earlier this year. The programme offers the best and brightest graduates a fast-track career in the banking industry. Through an intensive programme of both theoretical and practical training they will gain experience and expertise across the full spectrum of the banking activities. 

Ahmed al Musalmi CEO of National Bank of Oman said 'This programme is a testament to National Bank of Oman's commitment to closely align its strategy and vision with our nation's employment and Omanisation agenda. Given that over time these graduates will go on to assume leadership role at National Bank of Oman the programme is also of enormous strategic importance to our organisation. 

'I congratulate each candidate on earning a place on this prestigious programme and wish them every success as they embark on what will be a hugely rewarding experience and start to their careers with NBO.'

The programme is facilitated by Human Resources Group of the bank. The 12-month journey has been carefully crafted to meet the business demands and also the expectations of these fresh graduates. Nasser al Hajri GM - chief human resources officer and head of corporate affairs said 'Our latest intake of graduates represents the best of the best and over the next 12 months they will learn the skills and gain the experience needed to thrive in the global banking industry. The exceptionally challenging nature of the programme means these graduates will be well placed to take on leadership roles within the bank.'
