Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls for emergency Islamic Summit

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Sunday for an emergency Islamic Summit to stop the continuous Israeli aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Ministry is following the dangerous escalation in the Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa, the Ministry said in statement.
The Ministry also called on the international community, the Arab and Islamic worlds, as well the United Nation Security Council to take their responsibilities towards the Israeli escalation, the statement added.
The statement said that the Israeli government imposed by force the division of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli police stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque and injured a number of guards and worshipers amid operation to secure settlers incursion.
