HE Al Khulaifi: Falling Oil Prices Won't Affect Social Security Budget
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) HE Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al Khulaifi has denied that budgets of social development projects in the country could be affected by falling global oil prices.
Speaking on the sidelines of a meeting for the ministerial committee of GCC ministries of social affairs, HE the minister said supreme directives have recently ordered a rise in social security in Qatar and thus, he added, social security budget will not be affected by falling global oil prices. He noted that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is working to develop other services that regulate social security.
